Have you ever wanted to test your php codes and scripts on your android phone? Have wanted to know
how your php script and other scripts written using server side programming languages would look like on android?
Are you a young web developer who has no Pc and writes codes with your android phones? At last, there is light at the end of the tunnel. May I happily introduce a web server that acts like Wammp and Xammp for PCs. Here comes the

Structure of BIT WEB SERVER


1.    It has a button from where you can turn on the WEB SERVER feature. As can be seen on the image below.
2.    It has also has a button from where the DATABASE SERVER feature can be enabled.
3.    It  has a button also, from where you can access the script i.e. [LOCALHOST] from your default android browser
4.    It also has a button from where you can access “PhpMyAdmin” feature from your default android web browser.

This application is a web server application for android, include:
- LIGHTTPD as Web Server ,
- PHP as PHP Server ,
- MYSQL as MySQL Server ,
- PhpMyAdmin as MySQL Client ,and
- MSMTP as SMTP Client
It all wrapped into one application called Bit Web Server. So easy to run on android device, just single click then you can run web dynamic scripts.
This application is specially designed for the mobile and tablet, so this application requires very small memory.
This application can also be accessed from a computer network via wifi or tethering.
This application runs without an internet connection. Bit WebServer can run a variety of CMS like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Prestashop, etc. Besides CMS can also run PHP frameworks like Code Igniter, YII, CakePHP, etc.
It is the same as WAMP or LAMP or XAMPP on your computer or laptop, but this is for android devices with lighttpd instead ofapache.

HOW TO MAKE USE OF THIS WEB SERVER

1.       Download the application from HERE.
2.       Open the application and turn on both the “WEB SERVER” and the “DATABASE SERVER” BUTTONS.
3.       To access your script, copy the folder containing the script to a folder named “WWW” on your memory card (if you have a memory card) or on your phone memory if you don’t have a memory card. Remember to delete the file you find inside this folder before copying your script to the folder.
4.       To access the script on your browser, click on the “LOCALHOST” button. It will open the index of the folder “WWW” on your default android browser. Then, click on the folder containing your web script. And that’s all. You’re good to go.
