How to charge your android and other Smartphone faster

It is no longer a new thing when we hear people say that their Smartphone take longer time to charge especially when its original charger gets spoilt and a third-party charger is used. Even, some original chargers do not charge as fast as we want them to do. This has being a challenge to many especially when we are running out of time for an appointment and our Smartphone’s battery is almost flat. For the little time we have, we wish it charges fast so as not to be late at the appointment.



          So many questions have been asked pertaining to this issue of our Smartphone taking longer time to charge. I will try to proffer better tips that could be of help and could help reduce the time taken for our Smartphone to charge.


1.    Leave the phone alone:  This might sound funny but it works. Some of us are so fond of our phones that we always check on them and press them even when charging. Some of us even play games on our phones or chart on them which makes it charge slow. Leaving the phone (avoiding pressing it) while charging makes less things to be processed by the phone which helps its battery charge faster.




2.    Turn off all radio services (Network, wifi, GPS, bluetoooth): This could be done by putting the Smartphone on flight mode. What this does is that it shuts off your handset’s connection to the above mentioned radio services which suck battery life. This might not be possible because you can’t receive or make calls in this mode neither can you browse nor receive texts, but is a sure way to make your phone charge faster.



3.    Use appropriate chargers: our Smartphone has a dedicated charger that has specific current ratings and output power. Using another charger with lower rating will definitely charge slower than normal but using another with higher rating could help charge faster.

4.    Turn the phone off: If this is possible, then it is the most effective way to charge the battery faster. Turning a phone off stops processes and background applications that consume an appreciable percentage of battery life and these will help charge the battery faster.


These mentioned tips could help charge our Smartphone battery faster but, slow charging of a battery is ideal for the safety of our battery life.
