How to check if a memory card is fake with your android phone or PC

Introduction:
Many a time, we find ourselves buying memory cards that get spoilt after a short while. Even if the sellers tell you it’s the original type, it may not actually turnout to be so. Also, the packaging or branding of a memory card cannot actually tell if the memory card is fake or original. Today, I am going to share a little tip on how to know if a memory card is fake or original. This can actually be done using a PC or your android phone.
To check if a memory card is fake using your android phone;
-Download SD Insight from Google playstore or anywhere online.
-Then, if you already have the memory card in your phone, launch the app and it will in a tickle of some seconds, show all the information about the memory card( the manufacturer name, date of manufacture, product name and serial number)
-If the app shows this message “SD card is INVALID”, it shows that the memory card is likely a fake one.
-If your memory card brand is not identified , it means that maybe, the brand is not knowm ti the app makers.
To check if a memory card is fake using your PC;
I will share two applications that can help do this for us;
1.H2testW: This app is an awesome app that checks the originality of a memory card or flash drive by “filling it all up” and “reading it all back” and by this, checks for errors in the memory card and tells you whether it is original or fake.
2.Fake Flash Test: This app is as good as the app above but checks the originality of an SD card or flash drive using two methods. The first method is fast, reformats the drive and improves the file write speed on a FAT32 volume by up to 10% compared to the H2testW. This method is uded when the large button is clicked. The other method is exactly the same with that of H2testW app because it tests the originality by “filling it all up” and “reading it all up”
Conclusion:
Ihope with this, you can know whether a memory card is fake or not. You can also use this method to test the cards at the vendor’s shop before paying for it.
