Online storage, benefits and vendors

Introduction:
Over the years, technology has being on the rise and data are seen as treasures that are not worth loosing. We all at one point or the otheer, have lost our invaluable data stored on memory cards, flash drives, device memories and/or on internal or external hard disk drives. Today, I am going to share some online server hosts that allow people store their precious documents and other invaluable data on their servers.
Benefits of online storage:
1. Accessibility: Your data stored on servers online can be accessed anywhere from any device that has internet connection once you have your login details. This is useful when you're in need of some documents and you're not with your device.
2. Security: We oftentimes, want some privacy for some of our documents and data. Storing them online is so confidential that no one else can access them but you, except you authorize them by giving out your login details.
3. Easy sharing: We can share documents with our business associates, friends and family members that live far just by sharing a link to them from where they can download them.
4. Data safety: Our memory cards, flash drives,etc cannot be trusted completely because they are bound to crash! But data stored online are protected from such hazards and cannot be stolen or accidentally damaged.
Some online storage vendors:
I am going to share some online storage vendors where you can store data. Some of them give a limited storage capacity free and demand payment for extra disk space while some are absolutely free. They are;
1. Google drive: Google drive is the most generous of all the services. They provide free 15GB disk storage capacity. You can get more disk space by engaging in their mobile deals; eg: you get 100GB for two years when you buy a chromebook,etc.
2. Dropbox: Dropbox is also a very nice online storage vendor. Their basic free account comes with 2GB for storage but, one can get extra space by participating in their various activities. You get extra 500MB for any invited friend's sign up and 125MB for linking your account to Facebook and Twitter. You can upgrade to 1TB plan for 7.99 Euros per month.
3. OneDrive: They also offer 15GB free storage space and up to 5GB extra for their various referrals program.
Conclusion:
Online storage is indeed a worthwhile venture. But, I strongly want to advice that you should go through the terms and conditions of any vendor of your choice before registration. Also,choose trustworthy source to avoid any hazards.
